Calis beach is lovely - great sunsets. The whole area is very scenic, and a boat trip to the islands a must, and very reasonable. The water taxi to Fethiye is also good value, and fun. Plenty of choice re: food, many restaurants. I went for a week with a work colleague/friend.

Unfortunately the management at Ozcem apartments let us down badly, showing us three filthy apartments in succession when we arrived in the evening. After our remonstrations, we eventually chose an apartment that was less dirty and spent about two hours cleaning it and the cutlery/crockery etc to make it habitable. We found dirty tissues in the drawers, also congealed blood, and the bed linens were unwashed. We had altered our flight at extra cost, to arrive early in the evening, rather than the small hours, and this went to waste as we could not start our holiday until the apartment was clean enough to use.
