We stayed in the Magnolia Villa at the Oba Hostel for 5 nights this June.
Derya and her family are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay great.
The Oba is set back from the main strip/beach so is in an ideal location for the lagoon (10 minute walk), main beach (2 minutes) and great local bars and restaurants. As a party of 3 girls, the Villas are great as you get so much space. In the Magnolia villa we had a single bedded room a double bed in the lounge area and a double bed on the mezane floor. The bathroom is massive and there is s fridge, tv, air conditioning - a real home from home. You also feel very safe coming in late at night as you only have a short walk from the bars.
The Oba restaurant served fresh local breakfast to our table each morning and we could select other dishes at no extra cost if we wanted a change from the turkish breakfast. We also ate here most evenings as the food is fantastic, fresh and very reasonable.
