We stayed here at very short notice for one night after discovering a gap in our accommodation bookings due to flight changes. We were referred by Rachel of Casa Jasmin/El Jardin del Tango, where we had stayed previously. We actually stayed in the Casablanca and Bollywood rooms, which are round the corner from Maggie's B&B, and form two of three... More

I stayed at the additional rooms a block from Maggies in both the Casablanca and Bollywood rooms. The apartment is very comfortable and it is easy to get into the city sights by bus, on foot or taking cabs. I was made to feel very welcome and am considering a repeat trip already. More

Maggie’s B&B is in a great older building right in the cntre of Buenoas Aires -- amking getting around town a real treat! It is just a block and a half from Ave. de Mayo with easy access to walk most places – or take the Subte (subway). Maggie’s apartment is in an older building with a century-old elevator that... More

Centrally located, quiet, clean, helpful.....and very fairly priced. Nothing fancy, but who needs it? In this city you want to be out and about and this B&B is a great home base. She also linked us up with Steve and his Delta Enigma tours of the Rio Plato delta. www.deltaenigma.com More

Maggie is a gracious, knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful hostess. Her local experience truly enhanced my eight day stay in Buenos Aires. Her B&B - public areas and guest rooms - is beautifully decorated. Everything is clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are good. Location is exceptionally convenient. Rates are reasonable. Maggie's is an superb choice for visitors visiting Buenos Aires! More

After 4 months of travel, my boyfriend and I were looking for something interesting on BA outside of the hostel scene we had become so accustomed to. We stayed at both Maggie's BnB and her friend's apartment down the street. Both were fantastic. The friend's place was much larger and you have full use of the kitchen but didn't include... More

We stayed in the apartment - not at the actual Maggies B&B, but it's run by the same lady. It's a 3 bedroom apartment, with TV-room, kitchen (for everyone to use) and dining room. It's a very well kept old style building and apartment, but clean and modern. Spotless! We stayed in the Marilyn Room, the only en-suite room in... More

I have just had the pleasure of staying 17 nights at Maggie's Bed and Breakfast in Buenos Aires and am very sad to be leaving tomorrow. Maggie is the most wonderful host in every respect: caring, hospitable, generous and extremely informative. I could sense her warmth as soon as I received my first communication from her. I was lucky enough... More

Going to Buenos Aires for the first time? For most of us, a visit will be three or four weeks, and the choice of where to stay is critical for the trip. At 145 Santiago de Estero, one block from Av de Mayo, is 'Maggie's Bed and Breakfast'. This is definitely my preferred comfort zone in Buenos Aires! Santiago de... More
