Hotel Babel had the friendliest staff we encountered in all the hotels we stayed in, in Argentina. With excellent English, the staff were both fantastic sources of advice and tips, amd were fun to chat with while having a drink at the very sociable reception/lounge area. Good value, great location, excellent staff. This isn't 5 star by any means, but has a lot going for the budget conscious traveller. Stayed here with my wife, and loved the helpful staff. Perfectly situated if San Telmo is your choice of location. more

We popped into BsAs for a couple of nights on the way down to Peninsula Valdes to spot whales. We know the city pretty well so we basically like to just stroll around, soaking up the atmosphere and stuffing ourselves with steak and wine. San Telmo is perfect for this. right from the start with airport pick up , everything was 100% we arrived at 7am was meet by young man who was extremely helpful and made us breakfast.hotel very close to markets and shops ,with tango show only 5minutes away by foot.over all 10 out of 10 staff very helpful. more

The staff is very nice and helpfull in guiding you to the nicest places in town. The rooms are modern and clean. Fresh fruits at breakfast. Good value for your money. more

Great location in San Telmo, ultra friendly staff that really go that extra mile to help you out, very comfortable room, cool furniture and decor. Breakfast was good as well. reasonably priced for boutique accommodation. A nice touch was the hotels music CD compilation they left with us at checkout. more
