I had more fun here than in my house, The best hostel I've ever been in is this one. Here there is pool table (free), table football (free), wifi and computer for our usage, the pool is amazing, and I was surprised to find out it has warm water in winter.

I paid 70 pesos for my bed in a 4 bed dorm with shower and toilet. The beds are comfy and There's a locker per person. The sockets were the lined type not the circular two prongs I'd been using in the rest if South America but they had other adapters at reception. The kitchen is small and could do... More

It's true -- this hostel feels more like a hotel than a hostel. They make your bed nice and tidy each day. The breakfast is generous by Argentina standards, including juice, yogurt, several cakes and nice bread. Staff is beyond polite and professional -- at the same time -- and somehow remember your name in a large hostel. Wifi is... More

Let me say that this property puts most hotels to shame. The service was unbelievable and the cleanliness is unparalleled. However, with all of this high-touch management, the space is a bit white-washed and doesn't lend itself toward much guest interaction. If you are traveling alone, you may want to try another hostel, but if you need a nice respite,... More

My stay here was really good and the staff were unbelievably helpful. I had emailed them before I arrived to let them know that I would be early but I needed to drop my bags off and head right out to meet someone. They told me that arriving early wouldn't be a problem at all. When i arrived they were... More

My stay here was very pleasant! This place is very clean and has a great area to chill out! The hostel is a short walk to the subte Indepencia. Also a great little supermarket opposite for cheap supplies.

This is a really friendly and clean hostel. The communal areas are nicer than the dorms (we stayed in a twin room), but the rooms are fine. Clean and air conditioned. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are really helpful. Wifi was good. Breakfast was good. The hostel is in a bit of a dodgy part of town, but... More

The Hostel "America del Sur" ist situated directly in the lively area of San Telmo, near to the city center of Buenos Aires! If you need an inexpensive place to stay there, it is one of the best opportunities. We had a dorm with three beds, but the occupancy was kept down to three, so that we had a private... More

This hostel is located in San Telmo which is a great area to explore BA from. It's also close to an underground station which is a good cheap way to get around the city. The staff were helpful and the rooms were good, the breakfast was one of the best we came across in South America. There's a nice basement... More
