After a 16 hour flight from London landing at Buenos Aires one gets overwhelmed by the sight of the city. However, the location of the Marriott made up for its other shortcomings. Located in the heart of the city next to the San Martin Plaza the hotel has an old world charm, full of history and the various events are... more

Really nice spot... we had a lovely room with great views and nice high ceilings. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The concierge gave us great tips. Very convenient spot to be. Really nice and great deal. more

This hotel is celebrating it's 100th anniversary and Marriott has done a fine job in keeping it up to date; found the much appreciated cushion-top bed and the obligatory red chair (see foto of lobby). I stayed on the 8th floor concierge floor which was quiet with spacious rooms. The work desk in the room had wired and wireless internet... more

We had a great time in this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My only complain is that the hotel gets noisy thanks to the traffic; however, it is a small price to pay for an incredible location. more

I readl all other reviews but decided to stay here anyways. I am a GOLD member. Booked the Visa buy 3 and pay for 2 nights promo. I was upgraded to a Junior suite 876 with Club Lounge Access. The staff was cordial. We were greeted when we left the hotel and came back. We were given breakfast in the... more

I stayed in the Marriott for one night in March, and was upgraded to a Junior Suite. The suite was very nice, huge bathroom, comfy bed etc. The location was very good right across from Plaze San Martin and near one end of Florida St. and also next to a subway station. Had breakfast in the exec lounge (I have... more

Just returned today from BA where on our last night we returned to our hotel room at the Marriott and found clothes thrown on the floor next to a suitcase which we had placed on a stand before we left for the day. We soon discovered both LOCKED suitcases had been opened, not by unlocking the padlocks, but by undoing... more

I have stayed at many Marriott across the world (used to be Platinum member) and I was not impressed with this hotel. Took ten minutes before the water in the shower was actually warm enough to use. The paint on the doors in the hallway needs a major upgrade. In the bathroom some of the equipment is so old it... more

I'm a Gold Marriott Member, so I got comlimentary executive lounge. The Executive Lounge is great. Lots of treats. Free Wireless internet, too. Lobby is ok . . .I do not like the fact that you must carry your bag up the steps to the elevator (this is the oldest hotel in BA). Bell staff will help you, 4 out... more

The hotel was centrally located a the corner of Calle Florida and Plaza San Martin. We were upgraded to the Jr. suite since the regular room was not available. The room was quite nice with 2 separate rooms (Bedroom and living area). Bed was VERY comfortable. Downside was that the window looked into an enclosed interior courtyard. Very little light.... more
