The Melia is located on a great strip with lots of restaurants and about half a mile away from an open air market on Sundays. It's the perfect location for business travelers who want to experience a lot of food (local or something that reminds you of home). The staff is really helpful and very accommodating. My colleague and I... More

This hotel has all the trappings of a 5* but take a closer look and you find dirty, tired displays in the reception area. The rooms vary quite a bit. Only some have coffee making facilities and watch out if you think about drinking the bottle of water-it costs an arm and a leg as will the drinks in the... More

Great hotel for the price near all the main attractions that Puerto Madero has to offer. I would recommend you ask to stay in the new wing as the rooms are much nicer ... a little more expensive but worth the extra cash.

Lets start with the bad things: the pool closes at 7pm, and it's a short hike to the train. Other than that, this place is fantastic. While Palermo Soho is more our speed, this hotel was within walking distance of much of what we wanted to see as well as some good shopping along Calle Florida. I would definitely stay... More

There were no surprises and our high level standard room did not disappoint. The windows overlooked a bland rear well so no views but it was very quiet ,room large and bed comfortable so no complaints. Breakfast was good and the hotel location is central.

This was not my first time in BA but first in Melia. The booking was done easily through their web site and I also was upgraded on check in to a superb and big room on one of the hotel corners. The room was really nice, very well organized and perfect to work. The toilet was nice and fresh although... More

We were booked in by our travel company as part of an Antractic cruise so, in common with some other people, we did not choose it ourselves. We were, however, more than happy to come back to it several times during our extended trip around Argentina. The hotel is well run, staff are very friendly and helpful and it is in an... More

We enjoyed our stay at Melia. It was very well located which made it easy to walk around the city. It is situated on a pedestrian street so there was no traffic noise. It was handy to plenty of bars and especially a great steak restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I've taken a long time to think about this review - because of an unpleasant experience at this hotel - which I would otherwise have rated 'very good'. I used to stay at this hotel about 12 or 13 years ago and thought it very modern and far superior to others in the same price bracket. I think it is... More
