This hotel is very well located in BA- and is a good value. Not a super high-end property- but a very clean, comfortable and well run hotel with a lovely hidden garden and terrace behind the dining room. A nice spot to unwind after touring. There's a fantastic empanada restaurant (really a little hole in the wall- that does a... More

We stayed here twice, at either end of a trip to the Antarctic. The rooms were great - spacious, clean, excellent showers, nice views (we looked over the garden one time, then the river the next). But the service was lackadaisical - no porter leapt forward to help us with our luggage at any point, breakfast staff were slow on... More

The hotel was clean and bright, breakfasts OK, terrace was very pleasant. The lack of free wifi was a pain, but I got round the cost of water by filling my bottle from the water urn in the dining room. Our group had an excellent steak dinner in the dining room, but I had a disappointing and seriously overpriced lunch.... More

This hotel offers location, service, and a quality facility. The rooms are very large and comfortable, and the shower is superb, especially after a long day out and about the city. Rooms facing the European style garden are very quiet. The breakfast buffet is substantial and the lobby bar is a nice place to relax for a pre-dinner drink. On... More

I am now using this hotel on my trips to BA and find it excellent and I prefer it to the Sheraton. The rooms are excellent with great views and black outs if you need them. I would recommend this hotel to anybody The location is good for the centre and service is fine - breakfast is excellent also Some... More

We stayed here 2 nights as part of our cruise package to Antarctica. The hotel was gorgeous, the gardens and wall-waterfalls in the back were beautiful. The rooms had twin beds, but were large, bathrooms were huge, with rainfall-showers, all amenities. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Buffet at breakfast was good, large selection. Wasn't sure what to expect... More

Average hotel in general with a very poor buffet breakfast and hit and miss service in the restaurant. Beware of the 10 dollar charge for a bottle of Evian water in your room. More

We stayed at the Emperador as part of an Antarctica tour. The hotel common areas were very nice and the rooms were indeed spacious as described in other reviews. There was always a distinct chemically smell - so much so that it caused an allergic reaction in my partner's eye (luckily, a quick trip to the pharmacy and being away... More

The hotel sits in the corner of Pellegrini and Libertador. You have ready access to most of the top attractions in Buenos Aires. The rooms are spacious. The lobby is large and inviting. Breakfast is great and the garden view at the restaurant is amazing. They way the staff is dressed evokes the "grand hotels" of days past. The rooms... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and then one night. We found that generally it lived up to it's five star rating. It has a good location and good facilities. Our room for the 2 nights was enormous, modern, very well appointed and clean. The bathroom was also large, and had a bath, shower, bidet, shaving mirror, hairdryer... More
