I loved the hotel. The room is bright and comfortable, very clean bathroom . The staff is very attentive and provide useful information about what to do in the city. Do not worry about the comments regarding the carpets, they have been changed. In October I will visit again Buenos Aires and definitely stay at the Wilton. more

This was a great hotel in a wonderful city. Hotels in Buenos Aires are fairly expensive compared to how cheap everything else in the city is, but this was a good value for the money. We only stayed for three nights, but found the hotel very nice, clean, and comfortable. Our room itself was clean and quite big. The staff... more

This hotel was advertised as 3 star plus and as such it's fine. The rooms are bit small but were clean and bright, clean and well maintained bathrooms but not much of view, at least from the rooms at the back. There's no internet connection in the rooms. The breakfast was a cold buffet, but again was OK. The staff... more

GREAT LOCATION!! A modest (clean, comfortable) hotel, helpful staff (most speak English), okay breakfast, nice area and near restaurants, stores and sites. We paid $75US for both per night + taxes. We could walk to the Recoleta Cemetary, shopping areas and to both Buenos Aires Free Walking Tours. We had no trouble (safety wise) but were not out late nor... more

My daughter and stayed here for 3 nights in April. We had booked only one room but we decided we needed to have separate rooms. The receptionist told me to use the guest computers to book through Expedia or Wotif as I would get a better rate than he could offer over the counter. I did so and saved $55... more

I booked for a week in this hotel, but after three days we decided to move. Its very very ugly, the breakfast is nothing but ham and bread. The staf is RUDE and uneducated. The rooms are small, nothing like the pictures. It's "relatively clean" though". Anyway, you should spend a few extra buckz and make your Buenos Aires experience... more

Not sure why there are bad reviews for this hotel. For the price, you get a hotel with a big assortment on a buffet breakfast (no hot items though), free internet access (is kinda slow though), excellent location- walking distance to Sante Fe Ave, Rocaleta, subway station, there is fitness center (old equipment but the treadmill works!), great roof top... more

After our cruise we stayed two nights at the Wilton Hotel. We arrived early and no problem with early check-in. While checking in a couple staying there came in and reported they had been mugged at a nearby park and robbed of a Rolex watch from each. Management responded with "That happens a lot" as though it was no big... more

We stayed at the Wilton on two occasions in September 2008. Initially after a long flight from Sydney via Santiago when we stayed three nights. We had a large room at the front of the hotel and unfortunately this coincided with the resurfacing of the road out the front of the hotel. So we didn't get to sleep in -... more

DO NOT stay at this hotel - avoid at all costs. This was our first visit to Argentina, and we landed in BA and headed for the hotel after a 10 hour flight. Following the stories of many friends who had previously visited Argentina, our expectations were for warm and friendly people. Unfortunately the staff at the Wilton was successful... more
