stayed at hotel twice with my mother during our South America tours & once by myself aprox. 1998 onwards friendly helpful & honest staff & they speak good English .I'll stay again if i'm lucky enough to go back to South America. more

The Hotel is in comatose state, they only spend money when absolutely necessary, everything in this hotel is ready for retirement, elevator are ridiculous, rooms have windows to internal shafts and get zero sunlight, furniture had at least 30 years of constant abuse, bed is so-so and bathroom is a travel in time although there is plenty of hot water.. more

We slept one night in this hotel. First they gave us the poor room in first floor, but then a better one in fourth floor. We payed 65 dollars . The beds were good and the room was clean. It was what I expected at that price. more

The employees were friendly and helped with walking directions. The rooms, on the other hand, smelled of stale cigarette smoke (I asked for a nonsmoking room) and were terribly in need of some freshening up. I prepaid for four nights and stayed only one night.
