I've read some of the other reviews and I don't have any complaints from my time there. Esmeralda Palace Hotel is just an average hotel the happens to be in a neighborhood that's seen better days. “Central but noisy and unfriendly”

The hotel is very central, located on a very noisy street (our room was very noisy). Lady at reception was extremely unfriendly. Rest of staff was fine and helpful. Expensive for what you get.
