Location in San Telmo good and the staff are helpful but don´t always know the answers.The place is cleaned everyday but the bed linen is the thinnest I´ve seen. The room very quiet .The showers dont drain well so you are standing in water everytime. No booze allowed unless you buy from the bar (heard all like this in BA?)... more
The hostel was in a great location. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Only downside was the noise. more
The staff were SO nice and welcoming - made delicious coffee for us after we ran in from a rainstorm, directed us around BA, called us cabs, etc. We stayed in the private flat on the top floor, which was spacious, had a kitchen with a lot of tools for making dishes, a nice fridge and comfortable bed. This is a flea pit - why on earth it came 6th in the Guardian newspaper's shortlist for hostels in the world, i do not know! We checked out our so called double bedroom (dirty, other people's hairs in the bed, dark, dindgy and bleak and depressing) for a bit, then the toilet and shower - vaguely clean but pretty... more
First that all, on behalf of Ostinatto Buenos Aires Hostel staff, we would like to say that we always appreciate guest´s feedback. Even when there are negative opinions to hear. Actually, we are particularly interested in those ones because it means that there´s something to improve. Every day we make the effort to improve our service a little bit more....
Ostinatto is an amazing hostel with super friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen is huge and the common space is amazing.
