We arrived at Buenos Aires early Saturday morning 10/24 from Los Angeles. After a fairly harrowing ride through the streets of Buenos Aires we arrived at Casa Palmeritano. We were greeted by the housekeeper at the door. Lorena, the co-owner, invited us to sit down to a lovely breakfast. She had a casualness and caring that immediately put us at... more

I had finished up a 2 week stay in Paraguay with friends and then was off on my own to explore Buenos Aires. I was looking for a bed and breakfast to both fit my budget and also to have a place to connect with other travelers and I found a wonderful place in Casa Palermitano. Lorena and Andrea could... more

We loved Casa Palermitano. Lorena, Andrea and Norma are really sweet, kind and very helpful, but they also keep their distance so they don't crowd you too much. Lorena speaks great English, and is full of advice about the city. It was like having our own apartment in Buenos Aires but with friends next door! We loved the area -... more

Buenos Aires was our second stop in our 2 week tour of South America. We travelled as a group of 2 couples. At the end of the trip, I found that Buenos Aires was unexpectedly my favorite city in the entire trip. This was largely due to our experience at Casa Palermitano. The type of service and hospitality that we... more

I needed to stay in Buenos Aires for a conference. This was my first time in South America, I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. When I arrived at Casa Palermitano, I immediately felt at home, got great tips about local venues as well as on practical matters. The staff was helpful in finding solutions for any... more

I spent 10 nights at Casa Palermitano in October 2009. I'm incredibly glad that I chose this B&B. It's a charming place with wonderful hosts. Lorena is kind and extremely helpful. It was my first visit to Buenos Aires and it was a solo trip. I don't speak any Spanish, so having a host with a strong command of English... more

We had a fabulous trip to this interesting, sophisticated and gorgeous city. We were very sad to leave it. What made it really special was staying at Casa Palermitano. Not only is this converted house beautifully and artfully decorated and comfortably furnished, but the over-the-top service provided by the team of Lorena, Andrea and Norma makes this place one that... more

We thoroughly enjoyed Buenos Aires, and a big part of our positive experience was our stay at Casa Palermitano. Lorena and Andrea helped us with all kinds of arrangements, from bus transportation to tango shows to boat transportation to Colonia del Sacramento. They had many helpful suggestions for getting around Buenos Aires, and recommendations for great restaurants. more

This B&B is a clean, welcoming and well-located place to stay for a very good price. From this relatively quiet and safe pocket of Palermo, you can stumble home from the neighborhood's bars and restaurants or take an easy bus ride or a cheap cab to anywhere in the city. The rooms are insulated from street noise because they open... more
