Great price, rooms have character, could be bigger. Not much of a vibe when we stayed there, if you are looking for a boutique hotel to meet people try somewhere else. Location is a bit so/so, it is about a 10 minute walk to the middle of San Telmo, where markets/cafes/bars are. Nothing too interesting near the hotel. Great spot... more

It was near the Casa Rosada, some ATMs, and a weekend market. The area nearby was a bit dubious, the breakfast was AWFUL (more like hostal food), the cleaning was also iffy... I would recommend NOT booking their taxi as $36 is probably $10 over what the cost would be otherwise...You know you're in trouble when your driver wears a... more

was spent at don telmo, and i loved it! the staff were amazing, funny and so helpful in the transition into a different culture. (figureing out the buses and how to get around the city...) it was great to have several common areas (a lounge as well as a roof terrace) where travellers could casually meet, getting ideas of what... more

The property itself is no great shakes -- our room was noisy, the bathroom small, and there was not a lot of amenities. However, the staff were truly wonderful -- some of the friendliest, most helpful hotel employees that it has ever been my pleasure to meet. They were extremely patient with all of our questions (first time in Buenos... more

Compared to western hotels the rooms are small and they dont have windows as we know them, but my guess is this is standard for this type of hotel in Buenos Aires. I am a single male and always prefer to be pampered by female staff, so if I say an all male staff are fantastic they must be good... more

We stayed here on two separate occasions - the night we arrived in Buenos Aires and the night before we left. Both times all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! The rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable and very pretty. The bathrooms were great and the shower fantastic Breakfast was also delicious with a great variety of... more

This was a great little find! Very cheap, and in a handy location (the street itself isn't great, but it's a quick walk to the centre of San Telmo, and to the Microcentre). The building's lovely with lots of character and some charming details. The room we had was small, but nicely done and again managed to retain character. The... more

The best thing about this hotel is the staff - they are a friendly bunch and try to make your stay pleasant. Overall the hotel is clean and tidy, with a character. Of course, if you want 4-5 stars, do not bother, but if you want a decent place to crash with wi-fi Internet and a practical breakfast, Don Telmo... more
