We spent three nights at Garufa after we moved out from Soho All Suites. In my opinion Palermo Viejo is great for restaurants and Garufa's location cannot be beat. We stayed in Soho All Suites for one night and it was more convenient for shopping.

Our first night was in a double room which was very nicely decorated and faced an open-aired courtyard. The only problem was that there were mosquitos. Regina Huber was an excellent hostess. We arrived in BA 2 days after planned because there was a huge snowstorm in NY. American Airlines subsequently, erroneously, cancelled our return flight to New York. Rather than look for another hotel, we liked Garufa so much that we stayed two more night in a single room with shared bath.

The whole facility was impeccably decorated and Regina was very helpful with both written and oral recommendations. more
