The guys running the hostel are very friendly. Definitely a youthful vibe, very laid-back. It's a casual, comfortable place with a large common area upstairs and open rooftop for gatherings, which can go pretty late into the night. There is coffee and tea in the common kitchen. It's airy and bright, and there is a nice little courtyard for relaxing. They make a good effort to keep the place clean, but there were cockroaches during our stay, at least in our room--an enormous one ran down my leg and across the floor while I was sitting on the toilet! Earlier, I'd killed another baby roach. The roaches are the only reason I can't recommend this hostel. more
