Stopping to visit Mendoza whilst travelling between Santiago and Buenos Aires is a must. The town and its surrounding landscape can offer so much to see and do and i was sad to leave this picture perfect paradise where the local people openly welcome you. Hostel has a small pool which is nice but overall the place is filthy. 1 tiny shower for 2 or three dorms. Matresses had springs coming up inside them (i had to ask to have mine changed as it would have been impossible to sleep in it). Kitchen was filthy.
