This hostel is a nightmare!!! At first, it seems great. The staff are relatively friendly, the bar is cool and it is quite intimate and small. HOWEVER, on my last night here my locker was broken into although the lock was intact and there was no sign of it being broken into. Two hundred dollars were taken but they left a fifty dollar note there so I would not notice. My passport, phone and mp3 player were not touched. I complained but thought it was my fault for not locking my locker. When I complained the guy at the desk insinuated that I was lying...he also said that this 'never happens!'. Over the next two weeks travelling I met three different sets of people who had stayed there, or knew people who had, and ALL of them were robbed. It turns out we were all in the same room so I now believe that we may have all used the same locker which was faulty. These incidents happened within a few months so clearly the staff are taking things out of the locker. TELL EVERYONE you know not to... more
