When we first arrived at the hostel it didn't look like anything too special. No breakfast in the morning and no computer with internet connection, but we weren't in mendoza for the hostel. what first put us off was the dirtiness of the bathroom, and then the woman who was working the desk said she did not have the 'authority'... more

Ditto to the previous review. And that review did not exaggerate. I had read in the NY Times travel section (based on Frommer's) that this was the "classiest" hostel in Mendoza. For those of you who might be looking for a cheap hostel in Mendoza stay well away from Quinta!! It is absolutely filthy. You are afraid you might catch some infectious disease when you use the bathroom, you would find comfier bedrooms in prison cells and the staff are completely useless.
