We stayed in Lilian on suggestion of the Lonely Planet. And never regretted the choice. The hotel was clean and quiet. The rooms were very large and we even had a balcony and a bathtub there. Stayed one night on trip to Falls. Footprint's South American Handbook describes hotel as "charming". It is anything but. Very basic - not even glasses in room for a drink. Hotel Lilian is a good bet if you are looking for something clean and cheap to stay in. The rooms are clean and pretty good in size for the price.
