Everything you read about the Secret Garden is true. We arrived at the B&B and met this wonderful man, John Fernandes, the owner, who exudes such genuine warmth and kindness. Our room had a queen and twin bed in it and private bath, spacious, bright, clean and well appointed The walls and ceilings are all tongue and groove woodwork painted... More

We spent two wonderful nights at the Secret Garden Iguazu and fell in love with the place. The proprietor, John Fernandes, is an expert at helping visitors maximize their time at Iguazu, suggesting all sorts of itineraries and helping arrange transportation. His Jack Russell Terrier, Roxy, is a cute addition to the premises. The nightly sit-down with drinks and lively... More

We stayed for one night in February. Our room was well furnished, with a comfortable double bed, air condition (key in Puerto Iguazu), a stand up fan, and was very clean and quiet. The room had a private bathroom which was small but clean. Outside of room was a lounge area with garden chairs. Between the guest rooms and the... More

Rooms in the colors of La Boca, delicious ginger drinks and candies - all free and home-made - creamy capuccino in the morning and then John, the charming owner, who leads you through the jungle of buses and taxis and is delighted - if you wish - to organize it all for you. A most enjoyable experience. More

We stayed for 3 nights in February in a comfortable, well furnished garden room. The room had a comfortable double bed, air con and was very clean and quiet. The bathroom likewise. Outside was a lounge area with garden chairs. John picked us up at the airport and had responded well on discovering earlier in the day that I had... More

Me and my boyfriend went to Iguazu for 2 nights. 1 night we stayed at Johns place, Secret Garden (because he was fully booked the next night). This is a very nice, cute, charming and clean b&b. Nothing to complain about at all. John is - as everyone else writes - very friendly and very helpful (I even got back... More

This small, friendly B&B is a standout. John, the owner, has created a lush, colorful and friendly place to use as a base whilst visting the falls of Iguazu. When we arrived he gave us a tour of the town to help orient us and offered many suggestions about restaurants and our visit to the falls. Other reviewers have described... More

The Secret Garden in Puerto Iguazu is a small, friendly B&B, in a lovely and peaceful setting. It is located in quiet residential area close to the main thoroughfare and easy walking distance to the restaurants and other services in Puerto Iguazu. The bus to Iguazu Falls stops just around the corner from the B&B and runs frequently through the... More

Stayed here last week for 3 nites while visiting both sides of the falls. Can only reiterate what has been said before, John did everything he could to make our stay comfy and friendly. Really enjoyed the morning group visit over breakfast and the evening 're-cap' over drinks of all the guests! Was a great way to meet others and... More

We stayed with John around Christmas and can confirm what everyone else has already written regarding the quality of food, rooms, and, best of all, his hosting. This is a B&B, so do not expect the luxuries of a 5 star hotel, however, the Secret Garden does have a character and charm like no other. John's hosting is like having... More
