This hostel may be the closest to luxury one can find in San Ignacio. For a decent price you get wifi, air con, enormous pool, garden and common room area. Breakfast is basic Argentine but with some homemade pastries. Staff are lovely and helpful. Bathroom leaves much to be desired- not much hot water if any, but definitely not needed... More

I reserved this place because it was the only one listed on booking.com for San Ignacio. It's certainly the most budget lodging I have stayed in a while. It is located toward the end of town but San Igancio being a small town you can walk anywhere. The room was very basic but usable. The wifi worked. It had a... More

We spent a day here and could easily stay longer. The main building is old, but kept neat and clean by the friendly staff. I liked the large communal area with the large fireplace for cold winters, and the pool that was kept in order. There are hammocks under the trees (I happen to love hammocks) and the bar well... The staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a 4 bed dorm. The room was basic and a bit dated. Could do with a lick of paint to brighten it up. It was good to get hot water in the bathroom, as we hadn't had that very often in South America. The garden and pool area were large and well... More

We travelled north from Posadas by bus and were at San Ignacio within the hour. The bus terminal is some distance from the centre of town but older style taxis frequently stop at the terminal and not expensive, if you are prepared to haggle. WE arrange our return taxi as abulk buy and found the driver was very reliable and... More

We had originally planned on travelling from Iguazú to Mercedes in order to get to Colonia Pelligrini in the Esteros del Ibera wetlands and only wanted to visit the Jesuit ruins in San Ignacio. A very strong recommendation from other travellers led to us changing our plans and staying in San Ignacio Adventure hostel instead. They weren't impressed by Mercedes... More

Stopped here on the way down from Iguazu as we wanted to break up the journey to BA. The Jesuit ruins are the main draw here but the hostel itself is worth the visit for a few days r&r. The ruins are beautiful (50 pesos for foreigners, not the 25 pesos noted in the guidebook) but it's a pretty nondescript... More

Nice hostel with friendly rooms. The location is super quiet, to relax by the pool. Among the Jesuit reductions, it is a walk of about 15 min, it is similar far to the bus station. Taxis are a problem, but the owner drives you when necessary. Unfortunately, the bed was too small (about 140x180 cm) and also had a dirty... More

We had a double room with private bathroom: clean, silent and relaxing atmosphere. This was the best hostel in a three weeks trip in Argentina. Lot of green, nice swimming pool, the common spaces are wide and well furnished, and last but not the least those amacas below the palm trees are pure gold. Tennis table and Breakfast is rich...
