I stayed in Quinta la Paceña during Carnival. The city is full of masquerade groups following small music bands. The atmosphere is almost surreal. In the middle of all this Quinta la Paceña seems an oasis. The rooms are very well decorated. Breakfast is simple but very good. This was one of the best hotels in my entire 20-day trip... more
I can only recommend this place as it has a very unique style, so that you feel home immediately. The owner is an architect and carfully selected all material that make the stay very special. Beside the beautiful interiors, there is a lovely garden where you can enjoy breakfast and the hosts are are super friendly! more

We stayed one night as part of a trip out from Salta. Quinta La Pacena was a lovely, quiet and accommodating spot. The beds were excellent, the bathroom very clean and modern and the gardens very peaceful. We stayed at Quinta La Pacena in mid-May after spending 2 nights at Manantial del Silencio in Purmamarca. The location about 3 blocks from town center was excellent. The rooms are of average size with a nice babthroom. They adjoin a common area witha welcoming fireplace. The setting on the hill with a nice garden and good views is pleasant.... more
