For being one of the most expensive hotels in Salta, we weren't too impressed with the "Junior Suite". This hotel is very conveniently placed and is surpisingly (perhaps) impressive. Althogh in the middle of town it is quite quiet with a pleasing outlook onto a leafy square. I wasn't "particularly charmed" by this place, but I have no complaints and thought it was very nice. Let's get real about this place. It isn't a colonial gem, oozing charm and character. It is a solid, tourist class hotel with an old frontage facing a big, traffic choked square. This is a lovely colonial hotel in a good central location. The people at the front desk learn your name right away to make your stay more personal. Although I speak some Spanish, I never had to use it at the hotel. We stayed in one of their suites which is located in the original colonial building. I recommend this... more
