Water was unpotable (a filled sink had a brown color – which also made for a very unappetizing shower), and beds had little support (uncomfortable), and some employees didn’t seem to be concerned at all with customer service. more

Hosteria Meulen is a lovely hotel with old fashioned hardwood furniture, newly installed bathrooms, a shuttle service (running only 2x per day) into town and multi-tasking employees where 1 or 2 people did everything from check-in, baggage handling, driving the shuttle, serving breakfast, cleaning plates, and making personal wake-up calls. Wow, it sounds like some grumpy reviewers have stayed here recently. I found this little hotel to be quite charming, thanks in a large part to the very friendly and helpful staff.
