It's been a few months since we returned from Patagonia.... What do I remember of this hostel? It was clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. It was quiet barring the whooshing wind (but that's expected, right?). The breakfast was nice. And it's at a convenient walking distance from calafate's main street. more

Stayed at Hosteria Hainen during three nights last November. A little bit far away from the town´s main street. It is a cabin-like accomodation with decent prices and nice breakfast included. Hotel Hainen is a great place to spend your time in El Calafate. Juan Pablo, the booking manager, is very kind and helpful (and his daughter who you may find at the front desk with him, is adorable!)
