Monica is such a sweet host. In addition to the bountiful gourmet breakfast she provides, she also went out of her way to make us a hot breakfast with ham and cheese omelettes on one day and ham and cheese croissant sandwich the next. The rooms are nicely scented, and look newly renovated. I was really impressed with the modern... More

We had a wonderful time at Las Retamas. The room was great, and our host, Monica, was delightful. She sat us down on the first day and showed us everything to do in the city, including prices for all the tours and buses. Breakfast was delicious every morning.

Monika gave us a very warm welcome, gave us a map and marked many locations on the map. Restarants, sport shops, supermarket, museums etc. The rooms and bathrooms have been recently renovated. The rooms are cozy, very clean and warm. The beds are great. Monika's breakfast is really good. When we were there she even had something extra on some... More

It's a great place to stay in Ushuaia. Madam Monica is really cheerful and helpful as well as her daughters. The rooms are clean, new and cosy. The bathroom also is really clean. The breakfast was great also. As she said: we never lock the door because there is no crime in Ushuaia. Just 10-15 minutes from the center, out... More

The rooms were in the process of being renovated while we were staying. Our room a double with ensuite was brand new! The bed was so comfy, plenty of storage for our bags and unpacked items, large flat screen tv. The ensuite, shower hot and powerful great. Feels like being at home. Location is good about a 10 min walk... More

Monica is the consummate host and a treasure. Her breakfasts are literally the best we've had in Argentina and absolutely delicious. Many of her guests speak english only, but we've really enjoyed our chats with her in spanish (necessitamos practicar!). It is a little bit of a walk from town, but once you know the route through the park/redondo, it... More

We stayed here during a trip through Patagonia and thought it was great. The room was nice, plenty of storage and a TV, and always warm. Monica was super helpful explaining to us all the different tours and touristy things we could spend our days doing. I only speak basic Spanish so she was happy to try and explain things... More

The B&B' s manager Monica and her entire family are very nice an helpful, e.g. our laundry and managing to get an other B&B for the following night, as they we're booked out and we decided late. We've had a twin bed room with TV and cupboard which was all fine for a night or more. We had huge baggage... More

Small room, but it was clean. We had a shared bathroom which was just across the hall. It was clean and we had no complaints with that. In fact, there was a door to the bathroom/shower and then a separate door where there was a sink and mirror. Monica was very friendly, provided us with maps, recommendations on sites to... More
