Excelent! Staff very polited always helping with tips to sightsing around. The hotel is located on the center of Ushuaia, near all restaurants, shops, etc. The bedroom is very big and clean. I did'n tried the restaurant but it seems to be excelent. All nights people were dinnig there. more
Very basic and a bit worn. The two room apartment was spacious, but construction and furnishings very much hostel and a little dumpy. That would be okay if not for the price we paid. Reminded me of a very expensive dorm room. I can only say that I am "hopeful" that we got the gringo rate and the normal rate... more
We stayed at the Hostal for one night after arriving from the Via Australis cruise. The hotel is within walking distance from the downtown shopping area. The room was large but basic. Stayed here one night prior to an Antarctic cruise. We were not expecting much for $110 US. Surprise! A spacious two room accommodation with two-burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink, dishtowels, plates and utensils, and pots and pans.
