Lovely cabin up on the hill behind Ushuaia (there are a bunch of other cabins located in this area). You can walk to town from this hotel, but it's not a short sojourn. (We would usually walk downhill on the way in and take a cab back!) LIKES: Very nice cabin, clean and nicely located. Friendly cats and dogs which... more

We stayed here a few weeks ago in celebration of my father's birthday. We rented two villas and had a fantastic time. Luciana made us feel very welcome and had great advice about local activities (i.e. go out to Estancia Harberton to see the penguins rather than on a Beagle Channel Boat Tour). The villas were wonderful and had a... more

Patagonia Villa Lodge was a happy accident....we were staying in Santiago, Chile at the wonderful Hotel Orly on our way to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, where we were going to embark on an Antarctic expedition cruise. When we looked at our itinerary, realized we had misinterpreted the departure date of our cruise by one day....we were booked into another hotel... more

Ushuaia is a stunning place to visit in the winter, and Patagonia Villa is a beautiful place to stay. Both the town and the cabin actually exceeded what the guidebooks and websites led us to expect. My wife and I spent six nights during the shortest days of the year, in one of the "deluxe" cabins. "Deluxe" meant cathedral ceilings,... more

After traveling from 24 hours it sooooooo nice to come to this accomodation that was beyond our expectations. Great service, very cozy and comfortable, we felt like at home eventhough we were at the southernmost city of the world. Luciana, the owner, took care of us in a very hospitable manner that was so conducive to the environment that she... more

The place looked wonderful on the website; beautiful chalets in the woods with a fireplace and a kitchen in each unit. They didn't mention that they also had basement rooms under the chalets with no views and no balcony - and that's what I got. The breakfast buffet turned out to be some cereal and tasteless rolls left for me... more

We loved our time here!!! Luciana Lupotti (who speaks terrific English) made our stay so nice-- she helped us make flight and hotel plans and dinner reservations. We loved the cozy cabins, set in a magical forest. Close to town, but super quiet and private, with lots and lots of hot water and a fireplace. Web pix I've seen don't... more

We had a great time at this lovely wood bungalows, just outside ushuaia, much better than most of the hotels in town. The 2 storey bungalows had everything you needed, lovely fireplace with logs, spa in the bathroom and a huge bed with TV in bedroom. kitchen and fridge too and an outside sitting area. The best of all was... more

After booking another hotel through a different site, only to be told last minute that our booking was invalid, we desperately needed a place to stay. Travelocity found Patagonia Villa for us and it couldn't have been a better blessing in disguise! Nestled in the woods above the town, yet only a convenient 5 minute taxi ride to town, our... more

This villa consists of several guest houses. The owners and the accomodations are warm and friendly. Luciana and her husband and small children left the more crowded and taxed north to live in the untaxed freedom of tierra del fuego. Luciana runs the villa and speaks fluent English. We found her to be very helpful and interested in seeing that... more
