Stayed 2 nights at Tango B&B, and as we were busy all day, it was a great base. Nice quiet room and great ensuite. Breakfast was good. Raul booked the Penguin Tour and the full day to the National Park and back by catamaran for us with a discount. Nice walk into town, but we caught a taxi back each... more

Cristina & Raul are very welcoming! We were first put in a twin room which was right next to the sitting room and one could hear almost every word spoken. That room didn't have an en suite bathroom which was not clear when we booked. We asked to be moved to an other twin, this time with en suite which... more

Raul and Cristina were extremely welcoming and very helpful. We took one tour each day (penguins, National Park, Beagle Channel), which Raul booked for us, giving us more time to wander around town rather than scout out tours. As others have, I also highly recommend the penguin tour--much better to walk on the island with an enthusiastic and informative guide,... more

Tango B & B is located up the hillside in Ushuaia- OK going into town, 10-15 mins. walk, it's a long walk back uphill, but taxis are only 6-8 Pesos. Host Raoul will give you advice on the tours available- and get you a 10% discount if you book through him. Do the "Hiking with Penguins " if you can,... more

My nephew and I stayed for 2 nights while visiting the area. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Raul's suggestions for dining out were perfect for both ambiance and cuisine. Arranging for the car rental to be dropped off at the B&B saved us valuable time that we spent touring the breathtaking countryside. The piece de resistance was an... more

Room was clean, but cheerless and cramped. The manager/owner was not welcoming and made the stay uncomfortable. Probably the least welcoming of any place we have stayed in so far in South America. It was a good 15 minute walkout of the centre of town - not the central location the place advertised. Very expensive for the quality of the... more

We had a 2 night stay here and recommend this place highly. Raul got up and served us breakfast super early the first morning as we had a trip to Penguin Island and he even provided a special breakfast for me (as I'm gluten intolerant and the standard fare is croissant). The last morning we slept in and expected we'd... more

Nice place, very friendly owners, good value for money. I would recommend this B&B. Ushuaia itself was an interesting experience, do get out to a penguin colony if you can. I would recommend the trip to Estancia Harberton. It was a memorable experience. The prison is also well worth a visit. Ushuaia has some very good restaurants but I would... more

Ushuaia was our first real stop on our world trip and 3 months down the road we still look back to our time at the Tango B&B with a smile. From the first moment of booking via the internet we got very friendly emails advising us about Ushuaia and possible activities. We enjoyed the breakfasts as this gave us the... more

Raul's enthusiasm and friendliness was apparent from the time we made our booking. We were sure we would receive a warm welcome and we did. My cousin and I stayed for three comfortable nights. Raul promised us the 'best shower in Argentina' and indeed it was. Raul, Christina and their daughter went out of their way to help us plan... more
