Cerro Castor is located about half hour outside of Ushuaia and the setting of the lodge is perfect if you are after direct access to the ski slopes. This was our third year in Cerro Castor Ski Lodge, and even that this year we decided to go somewhere else to ski, we ended up here, without regrets. If you can get through the tortuous booking process, staying at this lodge is well worth while if you plan to ski at Cerro Castor. They will collect you from the Ushuaia airport and bring you to the Lodge. Its very conveniently located right by the base lift and consists of 15 "cabins". In fact these are almost brand new... more
