Peaceful lagoonside location amid trees & flowers. Huts spartan but adequate, shared bathroom facilities limited but well cleaned every morning. Lovely relaxing comfortable eating & lounging fale, with bar. Food clean, fresh & beautifully cooked. Lusia is charming & cosmopolitan, the staff friendly & helpful. Short, cheap taxi/bus ride or longish stroll to inter-island ferry, bus station, market & local... more

We spent one night there on a way from Savaii to Upolu. Perfect location for backpackers because it is close to the warf (5 min walk). Best food on Savaii. The only place we could eat deserts. more

My partner and I spent 2 nights here and absolutely loved it. The lagoon fales right over the water are great, the view is fantastic, the water was nice and warm, and we loved kayaking. The food was the best we had in Samoa and such great value too. The included breakfast was also amazing, especially because you got to... more

Our family loved our time at Lusia's. We all stayed in the honeymoon chalet (comfort stop AC and hot running water!) and found the staff and the atmoshere excellent. The kids had a ball jumping off the pier into the water, using the kayak and swimming in the spring water diluted lagoon. The food was by far the best on... more

We spent 2 nights in Lusia's in Garden fales. The location is good because it's only 10 minutes walk from the wharf and close to the local market, but... We stayed in Garden fales and it was the ugliest accommodation we had in Samoa, garage-looking room, dirty floor. Room rates include only breakfast and it's expensive to buy the rest... more

Hubby and I spent 6 wonderful nights here. Location - Perfect!!! Only 2 mins from ferry. Hard to beleive as you depart big ugly dusty ferry terminal driving along badly pitholed road, that only a stones throw away is this hidden gorgeous little haven. The market is only 5 minutes walk round the corner, and Town for groceries, internet, ATM... more

This was the most expensive accomodation during our stay in Samoa ($270 tala per night). More modern and cleaner than the others but would hope for that at $150 tala minimum extra per night. Stayed in over water chalets with ensuite - first one had no water but the staff quickly moved us next door. Lovely to lie in bed... more

Stayed two weeks in the Lagoon Chalets (we had both as we were a family of five) which provided an excellent base for tripping around, relaxing and getting to know the locals and culture. Staff were always willing to assist and friendly, trying their very best even if their English was as terrible as our Samoan!). The food was consistently... more

My husband and I have just returned from Savaii and was going to stay for 10 days at Lusias but couldn't leave so stayed 14 days......this says it all. We stayed in a overwater room with a a verandah out the front over the water. The room was clean and comfortable with ensuite and basic. There is nothing better than... more

My Partner and I took a trip to Samoa for 23 days in total. We spent 3 days on Upolu then stayed our first night on Savaii at Lusia's Lagoon Chalets. Straight away we were greeted with the warmest welcome we had recieved so far and were constantly attended to with a high level of customer care. The food was... more
