I expected much better customer service and amenities for the tariff charged. Rooms lacked some basics for travellers. For example - no chairs to sit on in the room nor a desk to work from. I would not recommend this hotel to any business traveller. more

We were told that there is internet, but it did not work. They refused to serve us lunch one day because there was only interest from the two of us. Cats in the rooms and in the dining room. No business services available except a conference room (which we did not use). And finally, when we decided to leave early... more

This is a handy place to stay when you are checking out Apia, it is not in the centre of Apia which is actually quite nice and the staff were great and always helpful with advice and tips. It is what it is, a clean place to stay while in Apia. It is just down the road from Robert Louis... more

My mum and I were at Le Manumea when the earthquake and sunami hit (2 days into our 6 day stay)...it was my 40th Birthday present. This was one of the most memorable holidays of my life not because of the disaster that hit, but because of the way we were made to feel part of the family, the people... more

Friendly small boutique style hotel located in the Vailima area, near Apia township. We had originally planned to book at the Aggie Grey Hotel chain but they were fully booked due to the filming of the TV show Survivor Samoa, however it was blessing in disguise as it led us to this gem of a hotel. This hotel has loads... more

My husband and I and our son and daughter-in-law were in Samoa for 2 weeks. We did the Fale on the beach thing for most of our stay and shouted ourselves a night at Manumea at the end of our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were really well appointed, loved the decor, especally the outside... more

We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Le Manumea. It is situated outside of the main area of Apia on the Cross Island road a stone's throw from the Robert Louis Stevenson memorial reserve. We were warmly welcomed by Luna and were given an early check-in along with breakfast that welcomed after the early morning flight arrival. We found the... more

Our stay at Manumea was nothing short of perfect! We were treated so well from the moment we arrived. The rooms were great(fantastic bathroom!) Pool clean and refreshing. Meals delicious. Best of all everyone working there were so nice and attentive. Luna and her family made sure everything was right. We appreciated Luna's recommendations, especially the tour with Peter. Our... more

Manumea is fantastic. It's about a 7 minute drive into town but it's lovely being up the hill and feeling the breeze. Hotel rooms are wonderful, outdoor shower is awesome. Restaurant food is good, possibly a little slow but it doesn't matter because we weren't late for anything. Parking is out the back, easy for loading/unloading. Pool is small but... more

We had 2 days at the Manumea Resort at the end of a beach holiday in Samoa. I wish it had been longer. The staff was so welcoming. The resort rooms were lovely, particularly the partially outdoor bathroom! We enjoyed swimming in the pool with the view of Apia. I loved the open airy dining/reception area. Local building and design... more
