We have been staying at the Sanctuary for years and keep returning for the zen vibe, lovely contemporary rooms (we always stay in the spa suites), and the chic Asian-influence restaurant. I love that the hotel is small and very grown up. We stay elsewhere when traveling with our kids. The only complaint I've ever had about this hotel is... More

I can't rave enough about this fabulous place! I was there for 6 days, the first part of which was a business conference. It is a fantastic place for a meeting - service was impeccable, responsive, and friendly. The meeting room has an unbeatable view and the food was way, way above your average conference/meeting fare. I stayed in a... More

Just stayed here for a long weekend in February. The hotel is great. It has an intimate feel to it from the rooms to the spa to the pool area. The food at the hotel is off the charts! The homemade granola is to die for. And the desserts... Evidently brunch on SUnday is not to be missed ( we... More

Just stayed here recently and what a treat. We normally stay at the Phoenician and we decided to try something new. After eating at Elements a few times we decided on The Sanctuary. Are we glad we did. Not that the Phoenicain is bad, this is just a different feel. If you love views request a mountain view suite. Huge... More

Amazingly beautiful hotel and surroundings. If you stay here I would suggest you visit the spa it's quite lovely. We had a wonderful couples massage. The restaurant and bar at the hotel are to die for, the view from the patio at the bar is amazing. All in all well worth the money. More

This was our 2nd trip and if anything it was even better than the first. The greeting you get when you arrive, borders on a religious experience. I don't know where they find these people but they are awesome. This was the theme throughout our stay with every one we met, from the concierge to the waitstaff in the restaurant.... More

When arriving at this resort, immediate tranquility. The view from my room, higher up on the mountain, stunning. Dined in the restaurant, food was delicious, service on the mark and the view, like no other. Enjoyed the spa, very relaxing. I will definitely return when I need to recharge. More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort in July... one might think that it would be intolerable in Phoenix at that time of year, but Sanctuary made the entire place feel calm and romantic (though it was still hot). The rooms are wonderful and very private. You will have a very individualized experience here in a very welcoming environment.... More

We stayed at the Sanctuary and had a really peaceful visit. We liked that the resort allowed us to call one ofour favorite local chinese restaurants and have them deliver directly to our room. That was a huge perk for us, since we dont get to that area of town frequently any more. The resorts in room dining was great,... More

Over the past 5 years this has been my go to property when I go to Scottsdale. Not only does the breathtaking vista from each of the rooms, the abundance of other amenities like the infinity pool and the awesome tennis coaches makes this resort hands down winner over other properties. Added plus is that they are dog friendly and... More
