My wife and I spent a night here last summer and our rental car was vandalized overnight while parked outside the hotel. When we informed the hotel staff, the front desk host did not even seem surprised! Apparently this must be a common occurrence here at the Hualapai Lodge. Room was overpriced but the vandalized car made our visit an... more

This was actually my second stay at the Hualapai Lodge, as my wife and I were here several years ago. This stay was with friends to go whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon. We arrived at about 6PM and were given a room facing the road (away from the railroad tracks) as requested with a rollaway bed as there were... more

I expected slow service from the indians and I was not dissappointed. They are on their "own" time and will help you when they feel like it. The restaurant had good basic food and the breakfast buffet was quite good. The rooms were clean and good sized but the lobby carpet was dirty looking. I suggest you check in as... more

Was here on business with the tribe. The hotel is basic but descent, especially for such a rural and remote location. There is a gym with a tredmill and weight machine, which is nice to have after a long car trip. There is also a salt water pool. The restaraunt serves HUGE portions of food, try the Hualapai stew, but... more

I stayed at this lodge with a friend for one night. Yes it's basic, but I believe it 2* class, so I'm not sure what people expect. The rooms were clean and spacious, I believe we had 2 queen beds rather than singles which is the norm for twin share rooms. We arrived here very late having visited the skywalk... more

Allow 2 hours to get to the Skywalk and 1.25 hours to drive to the Colorado river (dirt road not very suitable for normal automobiles). This hotel is miles from anywhere! The hotel backs on to a very active rail track with trains every 20-30 minutes day AND NIGHT and the trains sound their horns as there is a rail... more

Right up front, I will say the place was clean, but that's about all they have going for them. They advertise their hotel as a "gateway" to the Skywalk, which is complete B.S.!! We came from Vegas and stayed there and had to travel alomost an hour back to Kingman, then up to the Skywalk. We could have just stayed... more

The only place to stay on your trip! You need to book the night before the trip and the night after the trip! It is a great price for a hotel! I had heard about a train keeping you up all night, we never heard the train. It was a regular hotel room, plain and simple. The restaurant was nice,... more

I was very scared to stay here after the reviews, but they wouldn't let me cancel my reservation. It is very convenient if you're doing the river trip, which is why we chose it. Otherwise is 30-45min drive from the closest town, Kingman. It's true that the train runs frequently, but since I knew this in advance I asked for... more

I work with people in the area and am in Peach Springs several times a year. I always look forward to staying here. I'd much rather stay at Hualapai Lodge than Kingman, the Grand Canyon Caverns or Seligman because I walk out the door and am at work within five minutes. The accomodations provide whaat I need. A bed, shower,... more
