I booked my reservation on Priceline, thinking I was going to get an upscale room. Wrong. The room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. The "state of the art" fitness room had only had dumbells and a few cardio machines. The air conditioner in the fitness room was broken on a 104 degree day. The location is close to... more

Nothing bad about this hotel but nothing to capture your attention either. Have stayed at other crowne plaza's and this one is below standard. The rooms are clean but dated. The location is convenient to the airport and that's it. Wasn't impressed with phoenix either but it seems Tempe (just up the street) is where it all happens. more

I stayed here for one night on business and found the hotel to be fine. Sure there were some things that would not place this as a top Crowne Plaza but the staff were very attentive and accommodating. I booked a concierge room but on my arrival the room was closed so I was given free drink coupons for the... more

I stayed at this hotel for one week. We had a difficult check-in process, which seems to be normal for any employee at my company who stay at the hotel. We were issued free breakfast passes which eased our minds off the difficult check-in. Hopefully this billing issue will be worked out in the future. The room was pretty nice,... more

Not sure why my experience was so much better than that of other reviewers, but it genuinely was. Perhaps because my airline had done me so very wrong nothing else could possibly be worse. My airline had to put me up here overnight due to the incompetence of a gate attendant many, many hours earlier on the east coast. The... more

This property is decent, but could use some updating in the common areas. The parking policy is a pain as you are given a voucher to display in you car window and charged four dollars a day. The parking garage needs to be marked better to identify the floors and re-paint the parking spot numbers. The location is convenient with... more

Thank you very much for your comments on trip advisor. The Crowne Plaza Team appreciates all guest comments both negative and positive, of course we prefer positive but we only grow with negative:) Please be aware that we are activily persuing changes based on your comments to the parking garage and to the billing issue that you experienced with the...

To be fair, I should confess that American Airlines sent me to this hotel after canceling my flight, so I did not enter in the best of moods (but see my review of the Grand Hyatt DFW, which I loved in a similar situation). I should have just paid and stayed someplace better. First, I felt treated like a second-class... more

If you're even considering staying here, forget it. First of all, the location: the rail system directly outside is dangerous (a reported stabbing before our arrival); adult entertainment venues up and down the street; and a Ruby Tuesday and a Circle K are your only options for food (and you'd better run ... to say the area isn't safe would... more

I have stayed in worse hotels, but this would probably fall into the "top" 15. Even though it looks like it went through recent some renovations or upgrades it still felt worn, dated and tired. The hotel staff ranged from very helpful and friendly to indifferent with an attitude. This typically indicates a lack of training. Housekeeping was also inconsistent.... more

You other Trip Advisors are dead on (aren't we always?). This place is simply another vanilla-issue charmless airport hotel. It's not bad, but it's not great. This property used to be a Holiday Inn Select. A couple years ago, they slapped on some new paint and they now call it a Crowne Plaza. There really isn't a whole lot to... more
