I have stayed here numerous times and the Sunburst became a sort of second home for me. There are seven rooms, five of which have their own baths; two rooms share a bath. The building is a one story set of converted apartments, attractively decorated, some of it being semi-erotic male art. The rooms surround a well planted swimming pool area with hot tub. The living room has a collection of reading materials and free Internet, with wireless available in the rooms. A continental breakfast is presented each morning, with fresh coffee, including home baked muffins and yogurt, a nice touch. Best of all, the owner, Tim, treats his guests like old friends. The location is in a nice residental area north of the Phoenix business area and the drive to the airport is convenient. Tim says this was his dream: to create a place where gay men can stay and be themselves. He is constantly making little improvements and I look forward to staying there again in a few months. more
