Upside: Nice pools fun for entire family. Lazy River was great! Excellent service. Nice people. Rooms good size with nice comfortable beds. Downsides Internet access fee $13/day with advertised as hi-speed was acting like dialup with 1 -2 minute per website speed. (Marriott staff refunded the fee. Again top service). $25 "resort fee" per day was choc full of hyped... more

Since the resort opened, I have stayed at this location three times now. It seems the quality of service, with the exception of the hotel lobby and greeting staff, has gone downhill considerably. I was treated better at a Holiday Inn Express on my way to staying at the Desert Ridge Resort. To begin our stay, the new HDTV in... more

We stayed here in mid July for six nights and seven days, four of those days attending a convention at the resort. We have a lot of mixed feelings and I have to say that if it wasn't for the great rate we got (nearly 70% off rack) because of our convention, we probably would rate this stay a lot... more

The staff was friendly, the resort itself is beautiful, the spa was nice, nothing spectacular and the breakfast was good. Overall this is a nice hotel, my main problem is that they are not environmentally friendly at all. Here are a few examples: -There are about 4 different elevators to get to the same location. This is a total waste... more

We stayed here for 3 days at the beginning of July. We wanted to bring our 2 of our children to a resort with some water features. When we checked in I presented two $500 gift cards to put on our tab. I knew we would spend more than that and they need to be processed. The girl told us... more

This is a great resort with a very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are large and comfortable and the pool area is excellent. Don't miss Roy's for a great dinner. Great stay- perfect for familes on vacation. more

I stayed at this hotel for a business conference and was blown away! We are now considering staying here for a vacation the next time we visit relatives in Phoenix. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the conference facilities were great, the grounds are lovely, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Really an amazing experience. I don't think there's... more

We booked this trip through BJ's wholesale Club..and boy did we save $$$. It cost us $120 a night, and we had a free night for our six day stay. Loved loved loved this resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. Awesome bedding and views. The pool area is excellent, we were on east coast time, so we were up... more

This was my 3rd visit to Desert Ridge. The hotel is stunning. The property is large, well-maintained, relaxed and sophisticated. It is contemporary in a growing region of Phoenix and is very impressive... it would be hard to be disappointed at this hotel. Stunning spa area and pool--fantastic restaurants (though I recommend you skip Roy's-- overpriced and overhyped). The grounds... more
