Prior to my stay, I had eaten at the resort's restaurant, T. Cook's, on many occasions when in Phoenix, but I had never spend the night in one of its many types of accomodations. The prices seemed steep and I preferred the more discreet location and ambiance of its "sister" resort, the under-renovation Hermosa. However, I have rarely stayed in... more

When I realized the conference I had to attend was in Scottsdale, I hoped I might be able to stay at the Royal Palms. Having attended weddings and eaten in the restaurant before, I hoped to add a guest room visit to my future. Let me just say, this hotel did not disappoint. When we drove in Evan, the valet/bellperson,... more

This is one of the most beautiful hotels at which we have ever stayed. The grounds are gorgeous. Our room was very nicely decorated and furnished--just lovely. The service ranks up there with the greatest hotels of the world--especially the poolside service which is beyond compare. There was always a fresh of cold ice water at my side without even... more

From the time you check in until you leave the staff of this resort is constantly seeking to make your visit an absolutely amazing stay. I have to give special Kudos to Jose and the rest of the pool staff. Jose never stops (and I mean never) until all poolside loungers are totally relaxed and enjoying themselves and he always... more

We stayed at this hotel for our last night in Phoenix. The atmosphere of this hotel was very romantic. It doesn't even seem like you're in a large city once you enter the grounds of this hotel. Every part of this hotel is well manicured and has a wonderful European feel to it. Our room was extremely comfortable and I... more

We stayed at the Royal Palms after a recommendation from American Express. When we arrived, the check in service was great. We were there very early so we got a few recommendations and directions for coffee and lunch. Then, as we were getting ready to leave, they came out to let us know our room was ready (extra early!). The... more

I highly recommend the Royal Palms for those seeking romance &/or relaxation but not for families. It's 20 mins from the airport & 5 mins from Scottsdale. The resort deserves the many accolades & awards it has received and it's worth & the cost. Stayed there for 4 nights with 2 girlfriends. From the moment we arrived to checking out,... more

Sadly delays caused by BA along with lost luggage cut our stay in half at this beautiful resort. But the staff were very helpful ringing the airport etc to help. Our room did not have an outside area, which was a little disappointing at first, but it was spacious and very nicely presented with the most comfortable bed ever !... more
