My parents and I were visiting the Pinetop area and I found the Double B Lodge in Pinetop-Lakeside, Az by looking on the internet. I like to stay at places that are unique to the area and Double B Lodge fit the bill. It is located on Rt. 260 at mile marker 353. The Lodge is a work in progress and we stayed in room # 9 which has been totally refurbished. It has a small kitchen area and two very comfortable queen beds. I will stay there again when I get another chance to visit the area. There are also some cabins that looked good. I thought the staff was very helpful. They gave good suggestions for restaurants and were helpful with any of our needs. Pets are allowed and there is a great play area for families with kids. more
