My Mother and I arrived the day before we were to pick up my son from Chapel Rock Camp. We came from Tucson without any hotel reservations. It was our plan to find a place along the way. We stopped at a B&B but was told they were sold out to a family reunion. They recommended we try the Briar Wreath! We drove through quaint neighborhoods to the Briar Wreath. It was beautiful. One of the owners, Bill and his precious little dog Molly greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. It was warm and beautiful in the main house. Bill showed us the rooms that were available and we selected the Beach House. It was charming with three rooms (master, living and bath) - more than we could have asked for. His wife, Stacey came to our room and invited us on to the patio for a cool beverage and short chat. We unpacked and left for supper. The location is just far enough away to allow for plenty of peace and quiet but close enough to all that is happening in town. We walk through the shops... more
