The Vendome is like taking a time travel trip, but with the modern conveniences. Clean, well appointed historic rooms. Ours even had a delightful clawfoot tub/shower combination! Easy access to the historic downtown square, shopping and "Whiskey Row". The free continental breakfast was so-so, but a surprise benefit nonetheless.
