This is a perfectly fine 4 star property. Our room was recently renovated, the free gym was well appointed and even had a racquetball court, and the grounds well were well maintained. The business center was free, but internet in the room is $10 to $13 per day. You may not like the architecture, but it is not cookie cutter... More

We stayed here on a girls' weekend for sun, shopping and hiking and were very pleased with accommodations and service! All staff members were attentive and friendly. The shuttle service was a great service and one we used often. The cab ride to downtown Scottsdale is minimum if using a shuttle isn't your thing or you are outside shuttle service... More

Excellent clean, friendly facility. Outside pool was nice and clean, all meeting rooms were organized, clean and ready, food was amazing. There is an outdoor dinning area what was superb to be able to get out in a break time. All the food was served very much on time, what is highly important when you are in meetings all day.Great plavce.I... More

I have absolutely had it with Hotels encumbering my Debit Card for several hundred dollars at a pop, and this time Doubletree Paradise Valley is going to feel my rath. My folks were kind enough to pay for our entire stay in Scottsdale, two nights at this place. I mistakenly gave them my debit card at the front desk, they... More

I found this resort to be a place I will happily return to whenever visiting Scottsdale. Staff and service were excellent, health club facilities are outstanding with all Precor machines, steam room, sauna. Nice Tennis court, good food and clean comfortable rooms with decent amenities. Grounds are quite attractive and maintained with two pool areas and a playground for kids.... More

Thank you for selecting our resort and for this very positive review. All our guest rooms have private patios to add to our guests' enjoyment of the warm Arizona sun and our beautiful courtyard. We hope you can return to our area again soon and will come home to our Doubletree Resort. More

I stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend getaway with my wife after winning a nice bid on Priceline. The price of course was great (Priceline bidding always is), and overall this is a nice property. The hotel itself fits well with its surroundings, is nicely maintained, has very nice grounds, and the rooms appear fairly new or updated.... More

Thank you for being our guest and for this very good review and ratings. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. I have passed your feedback onto our team and specifically to our Director of Front Office so she can address the service issues you received at our desk. This is a critical area of service and such behavior is... More

Stayed here on 01.28 - 01.30 in room 2211. Check in was smooth and we were offered cookies right away which was a nice perk. We got a king size room with a mini bar facing a courtyard. The walk is far, which is fine, we aren't lazy, it's good exercise. I guess when I got a description of courtyard,... More

Thank you for selecting our resort for your visit and for this good review. From this feedback, your room and your walk to it must have been on the outer side of the resort, as if you had walked through our interior courtyard to your room, you would have seen an array of flowers, grass, benches, fountains and pools. The... More

My husband and I have traveled to the Phoenix-Scottsdale area many times and each time we try a new resort. We won't be returning to the Doubletree. We booked it, primarily knowing we would be spending very little time at the hotel - we had a busy itinerary meeting with friends off site. The hotel had a very competitive price,... More

Thank you for selecting our resort and for this feedback on your stay. I apologize that you were not able to experience more of the amenities and services offered by our resort and that you found us dated and not to your liking. We do have a unique architecture and layout that may not appeal to all, with a block... More

This is a decent hotel but hard to imagine this a 4 star resort. It is very spread out - my room was in the next zip code and signage was not very helpful to get there. Room was large and clean, towels were thick, but my view of a white tent outside the only window was disappointing. Not sure... More

Thank you for being with us for your meetings and this feedback on your stay. The Paradise Park Pavillion is up only six months of the year and is great for outside events and meals albeit not the best view from your room patio. Your room location was close to your meetings, held in the Forum, which is an expansive... More

Nice setting, decent lounge, average meeting space, good activity for out door sports like basketball and tennis. Hotel is colse to everything and shuttles are very convenient with courteous drivers. Clean comfortable room and very friendly staff. Weakness: Interior appears little dated. Toilet could have been placed 6" more inches from the wall. It was ok for me but could... More

Thank you for selecting our resort for your stay and for this "decent" review. We appreciate your compliments of our resort and staff. Obviously, our goal is to be more than just decent so we are working to address the issues your experienced. We are awaiting new furnishings that have been ordered for the lobby, restaurant and lounge areas. I... More
