The Fairmont Scottsdale is a resort hotel a long way from anywhere. The hotel complex is so big that one has trouble finding one's way around the complex. It was a five minute buggy ride to the front desk! The air conditioning in our room didn't work and eventually the repairmen got it to work to some extent but it... more

Fairmont Spa is one of the best I have ever been to (and I've been to many from La Costa to Miraval). If you book an appointment, you have access to a fitness center, fitness classes, rooftop pool (which was empty when I was there), outdoor cafe, and more. The food was just ok, but we mostly ate outside of... more

Went there for a work group event and loved it. The property is great, service awesome but the spa is not to be missed. Probably the best spa I have ever visited anywhere! It's a must go and spend a full day there if you can - taking advantage of the roof top pool. more

I've been travelling all my life and I can tell you that this is one of the nicest resorts that I've ever been to in this country. You'd never know you were in the middle of the desert with all the water at this place. The resort has it all: multiple pools, waterslide, golf, tennis, outdoor nightly movies for the... more

I recently returned from the Fairmont for a "girls weekend at the spa". The spa was FANTASTIC and the Fairmont service was incredible. The steak place was to die for whether you wanted a steak dinner or just burgers in their lounge. The rooms however......YIKES..... We had a "casita" which the reservation agent RAVED about. I don't know why. There... more

The room was immaculate!! Beautifully decorated and very spacious!!! We stayed there for just one night so I wish we had done two.. it went so fast! We didn't get to enjoy the amenities other than the waterslide and pool! Everything was fabulous! more

Went over Easter break and stayed in the Gold section. Leslie, the reservations manager was very helpful to me. The staff in the Gold lounge were great. Our room, Gold Jr. Suite, was very small for a family of 4. A couple of things were disappointing. Room service trays (not ours) sat outside the entrance to our suite all day... more

We stayed at the Princess for Spring Break, having been there two years ago at the same time. This time we got a great deal and stayed in the new Fairmont Gold section where we enjoyed the lounge for a breakfast buffet that is more than just a continental breakfast, as well as the concierge service. The junior suite was... more

Stayed at the Kierland property in the past. Loved the Fairmont! The bed, pillows and linens were HEAVENLY...Sorry Westin. Our suite was immaculate. The TPC Stadium course was in great condition. The only "negative" was that nothing was within walking distance. We'll definitely stay at the Fairmont again. more

We are regular visitors to Fairmont properties, and have had many great stays. This property was the exception. So bad, we checked out without staying a night. We had booked a Signature Casita room with double beds. We were shown to a Casita Suite with a king bed, which overlooked construction work on one of the casita buildings. It is... more
