This was for a business retreat for my husband, so everything was taken care of for us. We were upgraded to a casita, which was lovely and very large, but unfortunately it had a view of the parking structure and we could hear cars and see headlights if we kept the door or curtains open. It was also a handicapped... more

This was our 4th visit to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and our 3rd stay at the Phoenician. As always, our expectations were met and we were not disappointed with our investment. Everything and everyone from the moment we drove up to the property to our last goodbye to the staff at the Ice Cream Parlor/Cafe was beautiful. The rooms are fantastic,... more

I had the worst experience possible at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona. First of all, the room seemed dirty and not what you would expect at ALL from a FIVE-STAR DIAMOND RESORT hotel... I would have rather stayed in my home city at the Drake in Chicago, but I wanted some sun. Missing Wedding Ring and Chanel Ring: The second... more

Beautiful, well maintained property and professional, attentive staff. I really don't know what more you could want. We came with a large group that pretty much took the whole place over. The service in this circumstance was outstanding. From our perspective, everything went very smoothly. Even the banquet food (which I don't have high expectations for) was surprisingly excellent. Loved... more

The most pleasurable getaway we have had. The Canyon Suires accomadations are marvelous. The suite was bigger than my wifes home! The staff is always attentive to your needs, and go out of their way to show it. They remember your name and appear to be interested in you as a patron. The management is to be commended for their... more

This was our third trip to Scottsdale and decided to try a new resort so we decided to book 4 nights at the Phoenician. Upon arrival our check in was quick and the staff was attentive. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the location at the base of Camelback mountain is breathtaking. Our room was in good condition and spacious.... more

…at summer rates, anyway. Stayed here three nights over Labor Day Weekend on a AAA deal at $167 per night, with a Camelback view. Everything at the resort is on a grand scale, yet not overwhelming, with the exception of it being a bit of a maze to get to some rooms. The lobby has a real wow factor, from... more

My family and I spent 10 days at this resort in mid August. We were not sure after reading several not so flattering reviews however the resort, staff and facilities were first class. After a not so smooth check in the rest of the stay was perfect.Front desk staff acted as they started that day and it took 3 different people to... more

I made my reservations very early the day of my stay through Starwood Perfered Guest program. I took the best rate available with the AAA rate. Under $200.00 per night. I checked in early (about 12:45pm) and I was greeted warmly by a front desk staff memeber with no waiting. Check-in took about 2 mins. and I was off to... more
