My husband and I stayed at the Penrose to celebrate our 5th anniversary last December. Everything was amazing. The B&B is absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent. Very gourmet breakfasts and super evening snacks that I had seconds of each night. Special chocolates in the room were much appreciated. They even packed us a goody bag to take on the... more

My girlfriend and I traveled to Northern Arizona to see the Grand Canyon and , over the Christmas holidays. Stayed in Flagstaff the first night after a long drive from Southern California (Redlands). We also stayed in Flagstaff the second night so we could see the Grand Canyon the second we were there. My girlfriend's birthday is December 26th. I... more

Though all of Sedona is amazingly beautiful, the downtown area can get awfully crowded. The Penrose in Oak Creek Village gets you away from the madding crowds. It's setting is spectacular and, if you're into vortexes, you are in the midst of four of the strongest in Sedona without leaving your room! Restaurants in the area can be sketchy and... more

My wife and I stay at many B&B's mostly around the Northeast. We live in NY so we enjoy escaping the busy lifestyle with a vacation where we are taken care of. Well, this was a great choice for our 2 night stay in Sedona over Christmas Break. Whitney and his lovely wife and staff were on point with everything.... more

Everyone likes something different when they seek a B&B... but this one was a 10 in all apsects for us. The location was spectacular, nestled up right against the red rocks with beautiful (and very close) views of Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, Castle Rock. The hosts, Whitney and Christie, are great. They provide you with the information and service you... more

When I think B&B I hope for comfy rooms that remind me of home, delicious and filling breakfast, and a great view. The Penrose has all of those. Everybody I met there was very hospitable, Whitney's hiking recommendations were spot-on, and the lemon-ricotta pancakes were inspiring. I'd definitely return. -dan+the crew more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Penrose for one night. We had an absolutely amazing time. The owners were very warm, welcoming, hospitable, and caring. What made our stay so wonderful was that the owners went the extra mile to make themselves available to help us. Our room was very clean, nicely decorated, and had gorgeous views of Cathedral... more

This place was amazing. Went with my girlfriend and enjoyed every aspect. The inn was in great shape, the views were amazing, the room was perfect. But it was the little things that caught my attention. Breakfast was served to our liking; they left cookies out for us at night; the owner suggested great hikes; they provided us with park... more
