Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We arrived and was able to get into our room right away! The room was clean and very quiet. We loved staying here. The pool and hot tubs were warm, clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view of the golf course.

The Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort is where I spent my 3oth birthday. It's a beautiful resort with amazing views from pretty much any room and any of their pools. The staff is friendly and there's plenty of parking no matter which building you're assigned at check-in.

Stayed here for "extra vacation" week and was very pleased with unit and of course with staff. I expect unit to be clean and staff friendly and helpful so I don't rate a resort on that unless either or both were bad. The Ridge lived up to my expections in all aspects and I hope to return in the future. Excellent choice for visiting beautiful Sedona. Highly recommend it.

The Ridge on Sedona is beatifully located with views of several red rock features. The grounds are immaculate. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location keeps one out of the high traffic of Sedona. The Village of Oak Creek offered everything we were looking for in dining. The golf course was top-notch.

The weather in Sedona is perfect this time of year. The views and hiking are incredible. Take the tours, you won’t be disappointed. The resort has minimal amenities but it’s exactly as advertised. Flagstaff had snow, and the Grand Canyon South rim is only a 2 hour drive away. A great end of winter vacation. Warm enough for this time of year to please both of us.

Check in was fine, even though we had to wait 45 minutes for our room. Be aware there is a $25 resort fee per day but if you sit through a sales pitch for Hilton resorts you can get a $150 gift card. The sales pitch was no pressure at all and was very informative. The unit, one bedroom, was very clean and comfortable. Had a nice patio with great views of the area.Bed was good, plenty of towels and amenities. Staff was very helpful and had immediate responses to our needs. I needed help setting up my Firestick on the TV , called the front desk and a staff member was there in less than 5 minutes to help. Also needed some coffee filters and Kleenex and they were there with the items in 5 minutes. Resort is located in the Village of Oak Creek, about 20 minute car ride from downtown Sedona. Plenty of trails nearby for hiking and the biking is very good also as there are nice bike lanes on most of the main roads. Overall a great spot and area to explore, the scenery is outstanding!

A very nice location. The amenities fee of $25 per day is unwarranted since the exchange costs should already cover these basics. Golf and local attraction discounts are only available if you agree to attending a sales pitch for more time share. The accommodations are very well maintained but are still showing their age. It is a good "home base" for exploring the surrounding area.

Great spectacular location, good rates, yet a little less spectacular hotel. Obviously the location in this area is always great. This property changed to Hilton, I was told a year or so ago. Overall kept up ok, property is clean, but nothing stood out as great. There are some noticeable areas of opportunity. The property itself didn't stand out in terms of look, but only location. The unit I was in was a King suite, which was of good on size. However, it is dated with minor yet typical wear. My disappointment comes more in the kitchen area. The coffee pot didn't fit the coffee maker in height, I was missing kitchen towels, there were missing Pyrex dishes for baking and no container items to store left overs. The toaster is on its way out. There were no measuring cups, only a measuring beaker. Also the security safe batteries were dead. The local EV charger was also tagged as out of order. Hmm. I got by even with the small stuff. I believe more attention to ensuring the units is fully fitted out will help. My standard is the Hyatt Vacation Club in Sedona, where I stayed for years and this Hilton Vacation Club was well below their quality. However, I will credit it with have a really great rate and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Overall I might come back and stay here, if they'd take care of the little things and upgrade.

We had a small clean room with a housekeeping kitchen and bath with shower only. Room was advertised in the red rock area as having a balcony, but the balcony faced the parking lot and not red rocks. We had no use for the golf course or the pool, so we overpaid for our needs. It was nice to be outside the main drag of Sedona to avoid the crowds. There are multiple restaurants within easy driving distances. 10am checkout is moderatley draconian. Overall, there are better priced competitors. I would be happy to stay at this place for comparable or higher prices if I could be assured a room with a red rock view, but without that, there is no point in booking here again.

This is our 3rd stay at the Ridge. Love this resort and it's grounds and location in Oak Creek. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained. This time we managed to have a view of the Red Rocks from our windows which was great. Staff is very responsive to any requests, loved being able to text them. The location in Oak Creek is great as you are away from busy Sedona but can drive to Sedona in a reasonable time frame. Being close to Bell Rock and the other trails nearby is very convenient. We will be back to the Ridge!
