We traded our time share to stay here at Sedona Springs Resort. The staff was very welcoming and there was no timeshare presentation pressure, which was a pleasant surprise. We were not familiar with Sedona and not sure what West Sedona was, but there were not many options for trading and booked at this resort; however, they only had a studio available and I would not recommend booking the studio unit. While the unit was more than adequate in size and furnishings, the bedroom for the unit next door is above the studio. The sound proofing is not adequate for this type of arrangement. The people above us frequently were up in the middle of the night and it sounded like a herd of baby elephants was walking across the floor. For five nights we did not have a restful night's sleep. This was unfortunate as we enjoyed everything else about our stay. Unlike many timeshares we've been in, this one provided many of the little things we appreciated. They provide coffee filters, paper towels, and dish soap. There is a nice private patio outside the front door to sit and enjoy a cool drink. The studio also comes equipped with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and hotplate. I wasn't too keen on the hotplate idea. The resort is also nicely located near a Safeway, Wholefoods, Starbucks, and many restaurants. Rooms 210-217 are at the back of the resort and may be quieter; however, they are a distance from the pool. There is a spa near these rooms. I would definitely stay at this resort again, only not in a studio.

We got a 2 bedroom, plus lock off studio and it was perfect! The rooms are huge so you have tons of space. Everything was clean and decor was relatively updated. We cook a lot when we have a full kitchen and we were pleased to discover the kitchen already had everything we needed (this is unusual as we always find we're asking for this or that). Also, extra bed linens, blankets and towels and toilet paper/etc were already available in the unit. So we didn't have to request those either.

Office staff was super friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool or any of the resort's other amenities so cannot comment on that.

Really wonderful stay and I highly recommend this resort.

I am just completing a two night stay at this resort with some family as we travel on a ten day road trip in the southwest. This is a timeshare property and we rented directly from the resort for a reasonable price. We were in a 1 bedroom loft unit facing one of the courtyards. As a millennial who grew up in the '80s and '90s, this place had a charm that maybe only those of my generation would appreciate. You know the place that your dad booked through his friend/travel agent for a family vacation when you were 12? This is that place.

How do I explain ? Well first off, it's no frills but very well appointed. Our one bedroom loft had a half bath, fireplace, full kitchen and living room/sleeper sofa on the first floor and a full master suite, master bath, washer and dryer and a loft upstairs with another sleeper sofa. The color schemes and charm will bring you back to your child hood when there wasn't another worry in the world except the oncoming of Y2K and your parents embarrassing you in front of other kids your age. Some may call a few of the features dated; I'd use the word vintage. Most everything has been updated but the resort's original DNA is still very prevalent. The kitchen cabinet design, the one person manning the front desk who is overwhelmed but capable enough to manage a Fortune 500 company, the housekeeping staff taking tissues and folding them into shapes of animals in the bathroom....I could go on.

This place is extremely clean, better than most places I've stayed. The landscaper is meticulous, the hottubs (or "spas" as they're labeled) have varying color schemes as night. As you relax in them, you'll ponder the wonders of the universe as you gaze up into the stars and listen to the crickets chirping around you. You'll perhaps feel nostalgic about the moments you enjoyed (or didn't appreciate) in the late 20th century.

I've stayed in luxury resorts all over the world and am a timeshare owner in other locations and this place hit the spot for me. Stay here. It's close to everything, it's clean, reliable and has everything you need. This is not a full service hotel, so approach it as such. A big shout out to LeAnn at the front desk who helped me out several times with everything from printing out documents to recommending local hikes. Oh and the resort brought in an astronomer one night in the parking lot for star gazing; that was a treat and a whole separate review.

Only two recommendations - upgrade the sleeper sofa mattress downstairs and start thinking about carpet replacement on the second floor. Little things. Overall, bravo.

The room was spacious with an upstairs bedroom with a king sized bed and the bath had a Jacuzzi style tub with separate shower. Upstairs also had a sitting room with couch. Down stairs had a full kitchen, living room and half bath. On the property were three pools (one indoor) and three hot tubs. Unfortunately our check in experience was a true disappointment. We were greeted by saying we did not have a reservation and did not belong there. The second lady behind the desk found our reservation. We were early so our room was not ready. We asked if we could place some refrigerator items in the room and were met with a flat no. On further asking we were able to place our items in an empty refrigerator upstairs from the lobby. We asked that they call us when the room was ready and left our cell phone number. We were never called but the room was ready when we returned. We were then instructed to park our car at the far end of the parking lot and go around the entire back of the building to get to our room. We later discovered that the direct path to our room existed right next to the lobby. So the front desk staff failed in our opinion.

The resort was in an excellent location in the middle of Sedona with easy, quick access to trails, attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. We used Sedona as a base for many adventures within a short drive as well as a couple other longer day trips. The resort felt like home though each day, with friendly staff, multiple pools and spas, good workout area, a nice game area, well kept surroundings and probably the best unit/room we’ve ever experienced. We felt spoiled in our unit with ample room for my three kids and I. It was a great vacation choice!

This hotel was perfect for our family of four for five nights. Even though, yes, it’s outdated, everything was clean and the room was stocked with literally everything we needed. It’s like they had thought of everything. The pullout couch was great for my kids and the room was spacious even with it pulled out. We enjoyed the large shower and great water pressure. Loved the jacuzzi right next to our room, and my son really loved the game room. We liked that this location was far enough from the busy downtown area but close to restaurants and convenience stores. All our interactions with the staff were friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends!

I stayed at a studio at resort Villas with my family over the spring break. Overall, it's a nice property, fully equipped kitchen, dishware, dishwasher, microwave, full fridge. The hotel is within a close proximity to the city center, there is Walgreens within a 5 minute walk. That being said, I will NOT stay here again. No soundproof whatsoever. All studio rooms are located on the first floor, meaning that there is another family above you (renting larger two story units). I could hear EVERY single step the guests above us made, chair being moved, words spoken. I'd guess for families on the top floors there are no issues, however for those on the lower floors it's truly unfair and deeply inconvenient. For that reason and that reason alone, I hated being in the room. Day or night, you can hear every tiny noise - it's unbearable! We will not return!

I stayed in the 1 bedroom with a loft. On the positive side the unit was clean and quiet. The location can't be beat. Parking right outside your door makes loading groceries, luggage, and hiking gear easy. The BBQ worked well and there were several to choose from. All the appliances worked well. The kitchen was stocked with adequate dishes and pans.
On the downside the furnishings are very tired. The television in the livingroom had problems several times while we were there but after about 15 minutes it would come on. The bedroom TV was fine. The toiletries were bottom of the line with no hair conditioner available. The hot tubs were hot but not all jets worked.

This facility was much larger than comparable condos we have stayed in. We used a two-bedroom unit for four adults and the second "bedroom" was actually an efficiency with kitchen and couch and table and chairs! The main bedroom we used was upstairs and very large with closets, double sinks and jacuzzi. The toilet was in a small space but we had a very nice third toilet downstairs. The ceramic tile was attractive and the furniture was all nice. Everything at the resort was very clean and neat. We enjoyed the Sunday morning jewelry opportunity, and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

We’ve stayed at the Sedona springs or it’s sister resort next door…The Villas…for 20+ years now, and they are always on the top of our short list of best timeshares in Sedona for many reasons. First of all, the location can’t be beat for accessibility to trails as well as necessities like groceries and pharmacies. It’s far away from “The Y”, therefore avoiding all of that traffic and back up on the weekends. The property is very very nice, and very well kept, the staff both in the office and on the grounds are super friendly and helpful, and the units themselves are well maintained and pretty current.

My only complaint, and it’s a significant one, is that the couches, side chairs and dining chairs are all bottoming out, both in Sedona Springs as well as the Villas , which makes it very uncomfortable to sit for any period of time without getting back and hip aches etc.

The beds are good, altho I personally prefer a firmer bed, I realize most people probably don’t. The linens are just fine, the towels a bit rustic and rough but I realize some of that is prob to prevent people from walking off with them if they were too nice.

My only other complaint is that the kitchen utensils and cookware were not the greatest if you intend to cook much at home. Again I realize most people don’t do much of that when they are on vacation but if you do, like we do, you’re going to want to bring your own knife set at least. All they have are serrated knives etc.

Having stayed in all in the Sedona timeshares out there, this is still at the top of our list considering all factors,
