I was in Sedona for business in June. The Materhorn has a great location with stunning views from the rooms. The staff is mostly friendly, and the cleaning staff is great. Overall my only complaint is that if your a smoke they have some pretty faschist rules on smoking(no smoking on your deck) Otherwise great place to stay more

The room was spacious and the view was outstanding. The staff was very helpful. At the far end of town, it is a great location for taking in the shopping area. I would suggest a second floor room because the decks are private and well shaded in the heat of day. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. more

Every couple years I stay here and it just keeps getting better. Great value for the money, even if this wasn't Sedona. Can't beat the location on the strip--don't worry about traffic noise because the hotel sits back from the streat and all rooms are about 3 stories above it. This is a great hotel...small and very convenient to many shops, cafes and restaurants. Location in upper Sedona is perfect, out of the construction zone, can walk to lots of stores and restaurants. Free shuttle to downtown stops right by hotel.
