As other reviewers have said the Lo Lo Mai is just off 89A and you can indeed walk to some strip Mall shops but you'll need to drive about 5 miles to the "core" shopping areas of Sedona. This is a charming little motel that is run like a bed and breakfast by extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff. Smoking is not allowed on the premises, inside or outside.
